1965 Demolition of the RKO Palace/Rochester NY NEVER BEFORE SEEN PHOTOS!

Many thanks to Rochester Organist TIM SCHRAMM for alerting us to these awesome – and sad – photos of the demolition of the RKO Palace as posted on rochestersubway.com.  We also thank RUSS SHANER, RTOS President, who shared these important historic photos with the website.

We theatre folks are both sickened and fascinated by demolition photos. These are very artistically shot. I, for one, look at demolition photos and say to myself, “Oh–I wish I could have snagged that perfectly nice piece of plaster!”
