2013 Conclave | Recap: Day Four| An Interlude to Massachusetts

Today’s leg of our journey took us to the beautiful Berkshires. First stop in the journey, a trip to the town of North Adams to visit the Mohawk Theater.

Nearby in the town of Pittsfield, we visited the fully restored Colonial Theatre. Over 21 million dollars was invested in the project and it was money well spent.

From Pittsfield we journeyed to a smaller town in MA. In Great Barrington, we stopped at the Mahaiwe Theatre and were treated to a special history of the theatre by Honorary Member of the Year, Hugh Hardy.

Finally, our day was rounded out by a visit to the Crandell Theatre in Chatham, NY. The smell of popcorn was strong as the Crandell opened its doors and arms to us.
