Thursday began with a visit to the Circle Theatre, in the heart of Indianapolis. Always a high class venue, the restored Circle now serves as home to the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Conclaves present a unique opportunity and challenge to photographers. We visit many theatres which are not usually available to tour, much less photograph; it is often difficult or prohibited to take pictures inside a theatre during or before a show – if you can even find an affordable show at the right time. Even then, it can be difficult to take pictures, with a variety of lighting conditions and many people moving around. However, we have adapted and are proud of the documentation we produce of these historic structures.
