Guyer Opera House/Lewisville IN

Our final theatre of the regular Conclave, the Guyer Opera House defines “quaint”. On the upper floor of a commercial building, the simple auditorium is defined by its tin-ceilinged barrel vault, an amazingly effective acoustical amplifier. It, too, is maintained by a volunteer force. If there is one common theme of this Conclave, it is the power of community in saving and running a theatre.
