    It is so wonderful to see the silver, black, and gold finishes start to return to the Saban/Fox Wilshire, and the chalky lavenders from the early 1980s being consigned to blessed oblivion. Hats off to the Saban family for doing so much for this largest of S. Charles Lee’s masterworks. The neon marquee, while different from the original, perfectly embodies the correct level of High Deco splendor. I hope that sign designer gets more chances to adorn Los Angeles with such quality work.
