Research Fees
THS is a private non-profit organization and is funded, in part, by user fees paid for accessing the collections. Fees are charged for research and the use of historic photographic images, archival collections, and original artwork to help defray costs incurred for ongoing preservation and staff time associated with access, retrieval and request processing.
THS members receive approximately a 30% discount and must be a current member in good standing to receive the discount. Commercial is defined as a for-profit business. Non-member non-profit organizations may qualify for the Individual rate. For the non-profit institution discount the organization must be recognized by the IRS or the international equivalent. Scholarly and/or education use may qualify for the non-profit rate.
All on-site research is by prior appointment. Please call at least 7 days in advance to schedule an appointment. Please note the Archives is not currently handicap accessible. Contact Archive Director Kathy McLeister to schedule an appointment.
