Cyril Barbier in his Odeon model

“Birmingham,  England pensioner Cyril Barbier has a big problem over his big-screen  model. Because the 82-year-old has finally finished a scaled-down version of the  Odeon New Street cinema – and now doesn’t know what will become of it. . .”

Cyril joins many THS members who have built model theatres. Our Bill Savoy has done the Roxy, New York City. Our late Chicago member Frank Cronican did the huge model of the Avalon / New Regal, Chicago which finds use in our museum as our video theatre. HQ volunteer Robert Hyde has done four  exquisite small theatres now in our Archive.
