On SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 10, the Capitol will show the WW II movie RED TAILS, presented in conjunction with Mayor Joseph R. Fusco, Jr. and Rome City Hall. This special screening to honor, in person, 2nd Lt. Richard Thorpe. 2nd Lt. Herbert C. Thorpe, Rome resident and one of the last surviving Tuskegee Airmen, will receive the plaque in his brother Richard’s honor. Color guards will be present.
