Chicago Area Event! Sat April 10

All THS members and fans are invited to the Chicago Area Theatre Organ Enthusiasts (CATOE)  www.catoe.org/  monthly social at the York Theatre, 150 N. York Street, Elmhurst, IL on Saturday April 10 at 10 am. The THS American Movie Palace Museum, on the second floor of the York, will be open for tours following the one hour program. Both events are free.

 Playing the York’s 2/7 Barton pipe organ (ex-Rialto Theatre, Champaign, IL) will be Glenn Tallar. He is staff organist at Beggar’s Pizza, Lansing, Illinois where he plays the 3/17 Barton (ex-Oriental Theatre, Milwaukee, 1927), now in Beggar’s, the former Lans Theatre building (1947), every Tuesday and Friday night.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8jKnRuvAQY

Glenn Tallar, staff organist at Beggar’s Pizza, Lansing Illinois, the former Lans Theatre. The organ came from the Oriental Theatre, Milwaukee.
