John did a walk-through interview with Demetri Kouvalis, the owner of the Patio Theatre, which will reopen on June 3. The Patio is in Portage Park.

Lisa’s master’s thesis was on C. Howard Crane, prolific theatre architect from Detroit. Her father, Dr. David DiChiera, is founder of Michigan Opera Theatre. Its home is Crane’s ex- Capitol Theatre, Detroit, now known as the Detroit Opera House after refurbishment by MOT. Our Vice-president and Conclave chief, Mike Hauser, is marketing director for MOT.
