Conclave 2013: Getting there = Easy!

Planes, Trains & Automobiles… getting to Schenectady will be effortless!

If flying - Albany International Airport is serviced by all the major airlines and is minutes from Downtown Schenectady

Note: Please do not confuse New York State with New York City.  Our beautiful state is 300 miles tall and 300 miles wide.  The Big Apple comprises a minute fraction of its geography.  As a general rule, it makes no sense to fly into a NYC airport unless you have a strategy for the 3 hour trip from the City to Schenectady.

If the train is your thing, the Schenectady Amtrak station is a short walk to our hotel.  We hear that the ride up from NYC is particularly picturesque!

If you are driving, parking at the Hampton Inn/Schenectady is FREE for those registered at the hotel.

See you in Schenectady!

    Hi Karen,
Is there a van or shuttle from Albany Int’l airport to Schenectady? I was on the ALB website and couldn’t find any info on ground transportation other than renting a car. Thanks.
    Happy New Year!

    • Taxi is currently the only way to get from the airport to the hotel, John.
