Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) is only 25 minutes from Downtown Pittsburgh and supports about 155 non-stop flights per day to 37 destinations. A world-class facility, the airport has been recognized for meeting travelers’ needs. It has been ranked number one by Condé Nast Traveler for food, shops, comfort, amenities and ambiance. In addition, OAG Worldwide and market research leader J.D. Power and Associates have named it among the top airports in customer satisfaction surveys.
A model for other airports around the world, the terminal was designed to ease pedestrian traffic to the gates. With the help of a high-speed transport, travelers need only take a few steps to cross more than a half mile from the landside to airside terminals. In the airside terminal, moving walkways help passengers reach their gates quickly and easily.
