Facebook It! Ohmann Theatre/Lyons NY

The darling little OHMANN THEATRE has a Facebook page!

Theatre Owner BOB OHMANN was the Honorary Member of the Year and the plaque is proudly displayed in the theater’s Box Office.  See the history page here:   http://ohmanntheatre.com/history.html

  1. This theatre was built 99 years ago before sound movies – it still has an organ – and a large functioning stage that just last week had an outstanding play attended by hundreds.
The large screen raises above the stage and the Red Velvet Curtain brings back the memories of the days gone by when a theatre was a functioning multi purpose business. While the seats are new on the first floor the balcony consists of the original seats from the day it was built – wood backs, leather seats and hat racks attached. The sound and picture are sensational because of the new digital system. The lighting is computer controlled along with the curtains. To think this was done with private money astounds me today– when theatres like this are done with grants and government gifts. It also has air conditioning!

Best theater in the area – extra clean – great sound and large screen!
