THS member Ross Melnick's new volume on showman Roxy Rotha(p)fel

THS is pleased to offer member Ross Melnick’s  brand new book “American Showman” about fabled showman Samuel Roxy Rotha(p)fel at a significant savings. Most famous for his 6,000+ seat Roxy Theatre in New York City, Roxy the man was heavily involved in many aspects of show business, from pioneer radio broadcasting to pioneer film exhibition. Ross tells the full story magnificently in this easy to read 538 page tell-all book. A number of photos from the Ben M. Hall Collection of the THS Archive are included. Ben (founder of THS) wrote his pioneering book “The Best Remaining Seats” around the Roxy and watched its demolition from his 25th floor office window.
