There were some domed theatres made to show Cinerama. Here's the one in Los Angeles.

Dave Strohmaier was with us in Grand Rapids MI last June at THS Conclave  and brought the restored print of  “Windjammer” (in Cinemiracle, yet another wide-screen process) for us to see. He is shown filming at the Hollywood Heritage Museum, a place THS saw on our last Los Angeles area Conclave.

“For the first time in 50 years see a Cinerama camera in action. This short documentary by Michael J. Cahill shows Producer/Director and 3-panel historian Dave Strohmaier shooting footage in Hollywood on Jan. 14, 2012 for the brand new Cinerama film “IN THE PICTURE”. . .
