News from Philadelphia: Events at the Colonial Theatre

NewsfromPHILLYTHS Member Howard Haas informs us that for the first time in years, a silent feature film will be shown in 35 mm in the Philadelphia area with a theater pipe organ!

The Library of Congress print of Sparrows (1926) starring Mary Pickford will be shown Sunday April 28 at 4 PM at Phoenixville’s historic Colonial Theatre.

Ben Model will accompany on the Wurlitzer pipe organ. Christel Schmidt, author of the new title Mary Pickford: Queen of the Movies, will introduce the movie.
