From THS Member ROBERT STINSON via DAVID GUSS:
View the stunning photography of Ian Dobrowolski documenting modern local Massachusetts movie theaters alongside historical photos of now-extinct Medford theaters and unique vintage advertisements. Once found on every corner as the social hub of the town in the early 20th century, the neighborhood movie theater became obsolete once cars became available and the American desire for “more, bigger, and better” film watching experiences took hold of the nation. We look back at the theaters of Medford against the backdrop of movie theater culture in contemporary society.
