Power and Computer Problems at THS HQ

Over the weekend, there was a blown transformer in the alley behind the York Theatre.  This caused a major electrical event which surpassed the ability of the surge protectors and caused damage to electronic equipment in the building, including the York Theatre as well as most of the equipment in Theatre Historical Society’s offices.  This includes two of the three work stations, the printer, the fax machine, the answering machine, one of the routers, and possibly the scanner.  THS is working to have the machines repaired and/or replaced.

Since we have no answering machine, please call during our regular hours of Mon-Fri 9am-4pm (Central time) if you need to speak with the staff.  THS staff does still have access to e-mail, but the entire staff is sharing one computer, so reply to your e-mail may take longer than usual.

Thank you for your patience while we work to resolve the equipment issues and get back to 100% operations.
