The late Jim Annis was a self taught artist who strove to portray life and history of the past through old nostalgic scenes of the Chicago area. His works are part of a permanent collection of the Chicago Historical Society, National Archives at Bowling Green State University, Great Lakes Nautical Museum, and Milwaukee Public Library, just to name a few. His acclaim has only increased since his death, making his prints hard to find and coveted by collectors.
