Providence, RI- The Columbus Theatre Reopens!

The Columbus Theatre in Providence, RI reopened this past weekend.

After three years and $400,000 in renovations, the Columbus Theatre on Broadway in Providence reopened Saturday night. The Revival Too! event featured seven local bands, including The Low Anthem and Brown Bird.

Owner Jon Berberian upgraded the 86-year-old theater to conform to tougher fire safety rules enacted after the Station nightclub tragedy. His late father, Misak Berberian bought the theater in 1962.
