2011 Conclave/Theatre Tour group photo / photo by Brian Wolf

Regent Theatre, Allegan, MI

THS’s last stop of the day was the Regent Theatre.  It is a small theatre in a small town.  Like many others, they have endured their hardships and come back from it all.  The Regent now operates as a first run house.

It also served as the site for the 2011 Conclave/Theatre Tour group photo.  Thanks to Dr. John Kiesendahl and Brian Wolf for staging and taking the group photo!

Great to see The Group assembled. That is a terrific theatre front with great colors–neon, porcelain-enameled signage, bakelite, and fun geometric-patterned covers on what were doubtlessly once windows. Who could ask for anything more?
