Terry Monohan of San Francisco shares with us these exclusive photos of last week’s demolition of the Palace Theatre/Pagoda Theatre.

From Terry: Here, exclusive to my THS friends, are photos of the tear down going on this week Aug 21/22 2013 at San Francisco’s old Palace Theatre (known as the Pagoda Theatre in its last years.)  Located in the North Beach area of San Francisco near Chinatown at 1741 Powel Streets, it has been closed for more than 20 years. The first and last photo were from Wed the others were taken on Thursday.

I’d like to see any interior and exterior pictures of the SF Palace Theater in original condition. My uncle installed the sound system in it when talkies happened.
