Save the Montauk Theatre

Howard Haas is sharing this new Facebook site, and urges YOU to join the cause of saving this Passaic, NJ movie palace. Town officials wish to replace it with a school, but demolition of a movie palace would be the wrong lesson to teach!

The pictures of this theater are heart breaking. To have so much of it still intact, from the light fixtures to the stain glass windows! The city fathers should look beyond its’ recent tawdry past and restore this gem. Downtowns need theaters like this to make them more interesting!

Thank you so much for posting the link… if for some problem it does not work you can also google “save the montauk” and my facebook profile will be the first link to show up. Thanks for your support!

It would be a tremendous shame to tear this movie theatre down!
