Seen on Screen: Los Angeles Theatre!

THS Member TIM WAGER writes:  As Ruth and I watched “Bones” on TV recently, I recognized the basement ballroom of the Los Angeles Theatre standing in for a fancy lecture hall.  Later in the episode, scenes took place in the theatre proper, which they referred to as an opera house.  Pretty smart of those producers; get two locations for the price of one!

  1. Okay … those Charlie Daniels ads … where were they filmed? They look a lot like the lobby of a movie palace somewhere …

    • A sharp eyed THS member tells us that the ad was filmed in the lobby of the LOEW’S JERSEY!

On an episode of “Bones” that I saw recently, the grand lobby of the Los Angeles Theatre was featured, in all its splendor.
