Super Bowl Pick? How about Green Bay! Or maybe just an evening of TCM…

At the risk of inciting heated argument, how does a THS-er pick their Super Bowl favorite? By the city’s THEATER of course!

Back in 2007 the THS Conclave toured the amazing MEYER THEATRE in Green Bay and came away wowed.

Their entertaining and original history video easily take top prize for the Best History Page.  The video may take a bit of time to load, depending on your connection speed, but it is well worth the wait.

Not to exclude Pittsburgh’s Benedum Center for the Performing Arts (former Stanley Theater)  A restoration from the late 1980s. http://www.pgharts.org/venues/benedum.aspx

Good luck to YOUR team, no matter who you are rooting for – even if it’s Turner Classic’s “Pride of the Yankees” (what? they couldn’t find a football movie?) followed by an evening of silents from 1927: Sunrise staring George O’Brien & Janet Gaynor and the all time great Wings with Clara Bow and Buddy Rogers) !
