Theatre on Screen: MYSTERY THEATER!

A question from THS member Bob Duvall:

On May 13 on Fox’s “Fringe” program at 9 pm eastern time, they used a theater during the program for a location.  It appears to be quite an outstanding theater, or concert hall that is also presently undergoing restoration.  I realize that the producers of the show, took liberties thanks to computer magic to replace the normal domed ceiling  with a transparent domed ceiling when the plot took us to the alternate universe.  But the parts shown before the transformation really were unique.   So perhaps someone in our group, who saw that show can enlighten us to the theaters name and location.

Thank you.
