Theatres on Screen

Another installment of Theatres on Screen

Comments from DON BOHATKA:

Sunday, May 16, Miss Marple mystery on PBS. She and her friend attend a movie at the Savoy in London (really a legit house). They are shown walking up the steps and into the gorgeous Art Deco lobby.

SEX AND THE CITY 2. The girls attend a “World Premiere” at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City. Exterior shots.

From Karen Colizzi Noonan:

Seen during the “Cities” episode of History Channel’s terrific series, America: The Story of US, is an ad from Bank of America where they talk about their role in the revival of Downtown Oakland (CA) in which they were a major financial player in the rebirth of the Oakland Fox Theater.
