THS Passings: Irene Foley

It is with deep sadness that we have learned of the passing of Irene Foley on Easter Sunday.

Irene was the wife of the late Northeast Director JIM FOLEY.  Many of our long-time members will remember Irene accompanying Jim on Conclaves and organ tours. Irene had been in failing health for the last few years.  She lived with her daughter Pat Foley Kromer and her husband Mike Kromer in Shreveport for many years.  Recently they had relocated to Henderson NV.  No arrangements have been announced.

The THS family extends our heartfelt sympathy  to the Foley & Kromer families.  Rest well, Irene.  You were a very special lady!

I can recall sitting with Irene and Jim at “Sundance” the Conclave that Van so masterly headed. Jim’s health was in deep decline but Irene his mate supported him every inch of the way. I also noticed how attentive the THS members were to a fellow member. Go in peace Irene you were a wonderful gal.
