The Press Club is pleased to offer members and guests the opportunity to tour The Lansdowne Theater, currently being renovated as a venue for the presentation of singer/songwriters, adult alternative music and classic rock concerts, as well as for use by non-profit performing arts organizations, for civic events and by area school districts.
The unique opportunity to learn what’s in store for this grand old building is scheduled for Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. Matt Schultz, Executive Director of the Historic Lansdowne Theater Corporation will lead the tour.
The tour will begin with a short video at Delaware County’s only independent theater, Cinema 16:9, at 35 N. Lansdowne Avenue Lansdowne. Attendees will proceed next door for the guided theater tour, which will last about one hour. Following the tour will be a luncheon at Sycamore Restaurant, just a short walk from the theater. Please wear sensible shoes.

Please arrive at 10:30 a.m. at 35 N. Lansdowne Avenue.
Ample parking is in the Municipal parking lot directly across the street.
A parking kiosk is located near the Lansdowne Avenue entrance. Cost is $0.25 per hour.
