LA Fitness wants to build on theater site

LA Fitness wants to open a 45,000-square-foot health center at the site of the United Artists movie theaters at West 38th Street and I-465.

The Pike Township Residents Association has voted to support the request for a zoning variance to build the fitness center and raze the theater.

    Why do they want to build there. That is the nicest movie theatre on the west side.
